参赛报名退款政策

适用范围
适用于本届青少年AI视频大赛的参赛报名费。洛杉矶研学项目和颁奖典礼门票不包含在内，须另订条款。
家长申请取消
监护人在付款后7个自然日内、且在2026年12月31日多伦多时间23:59报名截止前提出取消申请，可获退款，扣除12.50加元处理费，但须尚未提交参赛作品或参加赛事提供的工作坊。逾期、提交作品后或参加工作坊后，原则上不退款，适用法律要求或经批准的特殊情况除外。
重复扣款及主办方取消
经核实的重复或错误扣款全额退回。若主办方取消本届赛事，退还已付报名费。若赛事发生重大变更，须向监护人说明变更并提供合理的退款选择。
申请与处理
由付款监护人通过service@solorapath.com提出申请，附参赛编号和付款日期，无需提供完整银行卡号。在5个工作日内答复获准与否；获准后在10个工作日内发起原路退款，实际到账时间由支付机构决定。监护人主动取消的退款扣除12.50加元处理费；重复或错误扣款、主办方取消赛事的退款不扣此费用。
其他说明
未获奖或个人行程变化本身不产生额外退款权利。退款不影响适用法律赋予的权利。正式条款须在付款前可阅读，并保留监护人接受的条款版本。
Contest entry refund policy

Coverage
This policy covers entry fees for the current YouthAI contest. The Los Angeles study program and ceremony tickets require separate terms.
Guardian cancellation requests
A guardian may request a refund, less a CAD $12.50 processing fee, within 7 calendar days after payment and before the registration deadline of December 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Toronto time, provided the participant has neither submitted a film nor attended a contest workshop. After that period, film submission or workshop attendance, entry fees are normally non-refundable, subject to applicable law and approved exceptional circumstances.
Duplicate charges and organizer cancellation
Verified duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full. If the organizer cancels this competition, entry fees are refunded. Material changes must be explained to guardians with a reasonable refund option.
Requests and processing
The paying guardian contacts service@solorapath.com with the entry reference and payment date, without providing a full card number. We respond within 5 business days and initiate an approved refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. Payment-provider processing times may vary. The CAD $12.50 deduction applies to guardian-requested cancellations, excluding duplicate or erroneous charges and organizer cancellation.
Other terms
Not winning an award or a change in personal plans does not by itself create an additional refund entitlement. Statutory rights remain unaffected. The approved policy must be available before payment and its accepted version recorded.
